The following are synopses excerpted from my old Eagles Timeline material. The leading pair are from the first two novels of the planned but never published Legacy of the Eagles series. However, these two books were originally a single novel entitled Rise of the Eagles which was published back in 2003. The rest of the synopses are from succeeding manuscripts that were never published until introduced in a different format on Kindle Vella where, after eighteen years of languishing, they found new life for several years until that platform ceased operations in early 2025.
Please note that, though synopses exist, the manuscript for Book Nine was not completed and Book Ten never written (issues to be corrected as The Eagles' Saga storyline progresses in a new published format).
As you will undoubtedly have discovered on the "Current Works" page, my Eagles material was also reimagined as the ongoing Legacy of the Terrans series (known as the Terrans Timeline), beginning in 2017, and now containing five published full-length novels as of February 2024.

Determined to get on with his life, Keith joins their “tribe” and learns of a secret power he never knew he had.

However, forces of the Global Empire soon brutally attack Brandon’s adopted tribe. Keith, Jason, and Cindy are the only survivors, and the trio embarks on a quest to avenge the massacre only to end up joining other rebellious dissidents – from both the Outlands and Imperial cities. BOOK TWO: THE RISE (originally: Rise of the Eagles)
The new “Eagles” were not the only dissidents planning rebellion. Members of Emperor Jade’s own “Spectrum Council” plotted against the Global Empire. Civil war broke out as one “foreverman” declared independence for his territory while another worked to overthrow Dr. Jade himself.
Keith Brandon, Jason Dodger, and Cindy Sawyer are caught up in a twisting roller coaster of political and military intrigue as the Eagles work to survive the Global Empire’s wrath, usurp a new African dictator, and launch a new nation of their own. Can the Eagles overcome enormous obstacles and endure a new world war threatening to destroy all hope of a peaceful future?

BOOK THREE: THE ENCOUNTER
The Eagles had triumphed as Dr. Jade was deposed and the Global Empire broken. The new Eagle Republic had defeated the Empire’s remnants and brought unity to Earth. Finally at peace, mankind began rebuilding civilization upon the technological bones of Jade’s realm. During the “Golden Age” times that followed, foreverman Keith Brandon retired from politics, built a wealthy business, and lost a second wife – Cindy. His best friend Jason Dodger became the principal architect of Astro Force, the Eagles’ new space-borne armed services.
Now, more than fifty years later, The Eagles – as humanity chooses to call itself – has reached out into space and achieved faster-than-light travel. As mankind slowly explores the cosmos and builds colonies on distant worlds, a chance encounter with an alien species – humanity’s first – leads to troubling discoveries and an interstellar war that could spell disaster for the Eagle Republic.

BOOK FOUR: THE FLIGHT
When the Eagle Republic expanded beyond Earth’s star system, it encountered its first alien race – the Mackmarion. These insect-like beings’ seemingly peaceful intentions toward the Eagles proved to be a deception. Eagle colonies grew silent, their spaceships began vanishing, and the home system was invaded. Within a short span of time, Astro Force had been decimated and forces of the Mackmarion Empire hovered on Earth’s very doorstep.
As the Eagle Republic faces certain destruction, Martian Councilor Keith Brandon teams up with Jason Dodger, the former Supreme Admiral of Astro Force, in a desperate gamble. The Mars Colony assembles a fleet of civilian and military vessels and flees into deep space. Fears of pursuit drive fifty thousand refugees across the cosmos where they encounter new allies, potent enemies, dangerous storms, and deadly diseases. Amid their search for a new home, the refugees also discover “mystical” powers that threaten to forever divide the remnants of humanity.

BOOK FIVE: THE TRIBES
The Mackmarion Empire had invaded Earth and crushed the Eagle Republic. A fleet of refugees fled into deep space, enduring numerous trials along its more than forty years of wanderings. The predominant event was encountering the “Kreeos”, a magical power endowed upon some by a mysterious space storm. Different viewpoints about this “magic” led to new disunity among mankind. After Keith Brandon, Jason Dodger, and Edward O’Ryan, along with their Dark Eagle followers, are banished to the planet Hast’Bren, the Eagle Refugee Fleet finally fractures beyond repair.
Four “tribes” soon sail off on different courses. The two largest tribes – one heavily Kreeos endowed – each manage to endure many additional years of travel before discovering new worlds to call home. Decades pass before these tribes reencounter one another – just in time to ally against a ruthless alien aggressor. The use of the Kreeos to help end the conflict leads to the disturbing discovery of a distant, shadowy force that has infiltrated humanity. The Kreeos wielding “Avatar Order” must expose and defeat the sinister plans of this new kind of invader.

Eagle Refugee Fleet searches for a new home
BOOK SIX: THE RECTIFICATION
Of the four recognized tribes of the now defunct Eagle Refugee Fleet, the one under control of “The Leadership” had been the faction to most reject Kreeos magic. This group finally settled upon a planet they could call home and had built a dynamic and powerful kingdom by the time they encountered another tribe from the planet Arrdainnia. Peaceful relations are sought by both worlds until it is revealed that the Arrdain are hiding a secret – knowledge of the Kreeos endowed Shayworth Tribe, the onetime greatest opponent of the Leadership.
Tracia Dorrez is a young field agent with the Avatar Order on the Eagles world of Timerria. She is assigned to secretly join the Arrdainnian Embassy being established in the newly discovered Kingdom of Quetronia. Charged with keeping an eye on the Kreeos despising Quetronians, Dorrez will discover a malicious and all too familiar force is working to unsettle relations between the Eagles and begin a terrible war. The one big complication to Dorrez’ mission she did not count on – as an Avatar agent – was to fall in love with Matthew Fulbright, Crown Prince of Quetronia.

BOOK SEVEN: THE SHADOWS

Exile to the world of Hast’Bren had been a bitter pill for Keith Brandon, Jason Dodger and Edward O’Ryan. Despite possessing powerful “shadow magic”, the Dark Eagles felt helpless to alter their fate. Nursing a hatred of the Leaders of the Eagle Refugee Fleet, the castaways accepted the offer of Kreeos Master Onath to teach them more about their powers. But after a decade of trying to turn the Dark Eagles from their doomed path, Master Onath concedes defeat and the fifth tribe of the Eagles escapes Hast’Bren.

Following a path of shadow magic through the Kreeos, Brandon, Dodger, and O’Ryan lead the Dark Eagles across the stars pillaging and plundering as they go. Years later, this menacing group discovers a lonely world on the edge of the galaxy. This mystical planet promises to fulfill their desires for ultimate power and offers a chance to satisfy the Dark Eagles’ quest for revenge against those who had banished them from the rest of humanity.

The Shadow Lords of Triaxa The Shadow magic side of the Kreeos
a.k.a. The Shadow Triad

BOOK EIGHT: THE IMPERIUM

Keith Brandon, Jason Dodger, and Edward O’Ryan led the Dark Eagles from exile on Hast’Bren across the galaxy to the distant rim world of Triaxa. Realizing the Kreeos power that lay dormant upon this mystical desert world, they took advantage of an ancient prophecy and became the gods of the native humanoid race. Absorbing a massive amount of shadow magic, the Leaders became known as the “Shadow Lords of Triaxa” and declared the birth of the Triad Imperium.

Now advised by former Earth emperor Dr. Jade, the Dark Eagles seek to build an unholy realm of both militant and magical power. Their goals are to destroy the Mackmarion Empire and dominate the other Eagle tribes. Although aware of the potential for treachery on the part of Jade and his new apprentice, the Shadow Lords believe they are destined to one day rule the cosmos. However, on the eve of a certain victory, the Triad Imperium will be shaken to its core, once again altering the future of humanity – and the entire galaxy.

BOOK NINE: THE SPHERRIUM

The Eagle civilizations of Arrdainnia, Quetronia, and Timerria managed to fend off a secret incursion by evil shadow magic masters. Realizing that unity against such future threats was needed, the three human tribes banded together into what was dubbed “The Heart Worlds”. Through increased diplomacy, trade, and mutual defense, this loose union drew ever closer – despite differences concerning the magic of the Kreeos – until eventual political unification created The Spherrium.

Surviving a series of growing pains, The Spherrium is well on its way to becoming a powerful democracy, which elicits cold aloofness from the older monarchist civilizations that dominate much of galactic politics. So, when the evil Triad Imperium and its shadow magic war machine threatens the Eagles, it looks as if The Spherrium and its Avatar Order will have to face it alone.

BOOK TEN: THE VICTORY

Centuries ago, the Shadow Lords of Triaxa had been deposed in a successful coup d'état by none other than the immortal Dr. Jade. His greatest desire was to destroy the Eagles and conquer the galaxy. To clear the way, the Triad Imperium warred with the Mackmarion Empire for more than four centuries. The vast territories captured by Triaxa were the regions of space closest to The Spherrium, the Eagles’ unified democracy. At long last, the Imperium aimed its daunting war machine at “The Heart Worlds”.

The Eagles eventually came under attack setting off not only a titanic military struggle but also a devastating “Kreeos War” between the shadow forces of Triaxa and the bright magic Avatar Order. Now, as the war rages on world after world, the Triad Imperium is winning. In the Eagles’ darkest hour, two long lost forevermen will emerge as unlikely heroes when they offer to lead the Avatar Order on a daring strike at the heart of the Imperium. This may be humanity’s only chance to save its civilization – and the rest of the galaxy – from a dark and terrible future.
